Hi everyone! I hope you all are well and enjoying your summer.
It has almost been eight months since Edna's passing. As her personal representative, I wanted to give you an update as to how things are going.
Edna's will included a provision that allowed her to create a list outside the will identifying personal belongings and to whom she wished that item to go. With Janna Lee's help, Edna created that list. Earlier, she had also tagged several personal belongings with names. Some names/items appear on both the list and tag. Although most are consistent, there were a few that were different. In those cases, the name on the list will govern, as the list was the most recent indication of Edna's wishes and is also expressly recognized in the will. Many of the items have already been delivered or picked up by the named recipient.
Edna was unable to complete her list before her passing, so there were many items that never got tagged or listed. In fact, Chuckie was en route to Stanton to help Edna complete that list when Edna passed away.
Chuckie and Michele have been in Stanton for the last month trying to put things in order.
